I was born and raised in the greater Seattle area, and it's my firm belief there's not a better place to be in the whole country than the PNW. Out of the country...well, that's a different story.
I'm a traveler, comic collector, gamer, goofball, and owner of a small dog (my buddy, Chester).
I spent 6 years in Los Angeles (getting my BA in Theatre Arts at Loyola Marymount University and working for a small theatre on Melrose) before returning home to Seattle to dive into the arts scene.
I'm a cancer survivor, sober person in recovery, and doing my damnedest to be a better version of myself every #!@*&% day.
Majoring in Theatre Arts with a minor in Theological Studies, LMU gave me a solid creative foundation for everything I do. It's there I was pushed towards the "learn by doing" approach, becoming an executive member of the student run theatre group, the Del Rey Players, and getting my first taste of producing my own work.
If I haven't visited a new location within a year period of time, I get very itchy. I thrive on learning about different cultures/lifestyles: eating their food, seeing their art, traversing their geography. Some highlights include Bulgaria, Greece, Alaska, Scotland, and (my all-time favorite) Iceland.
I've been playing video games since Nintendo became a household name and have no intention of ever stopping. I also worked for Activision in Santa Monica as a QA Tester for a year and some change. Selected favorites over the years include Final Fantasy 7, The Last of Us (both parts), God of War, Subnautica, and Bioshock: Infinite.
I've been collecting comics on-and-off since the early 90s. As of writing this, I have over 1,600 books at an estimated value of over $13,000.
I'm a big fan of Marvel books with favorite characters such as the Multiple Man, X-Men, Venom, and Hawkeye.
Back in the 80s, the Lynwood Ice Center used to be Sno-King Ice Arena and it was built and run by my family. I spent a lot of my childhood in that rink. And now with the new Seattle NHL team the Kraken, I'm able to relive a bit of my childhood while watching these crazy boys with sticks fly around with knives on their feet.
My best buddy. I adopted Chester from a small rescue shelter in Vancouver in 2015. The shelter thought he was a beagle/chihuahua mix, but I've labeled him simply as a "monkey dog." He like belly rubs, bully sticks, car rides, chasing bunnies, and following me every step I take.
